The prospect of being stranded in a place so similar to the one Jake had lived his entire first life in did not sit well with the boy. -'There is no environmental pollution in this world, I can easily live to sixty or even older here, I can't just waste it in the slums. I need to do something. I can survive outside the walls if I get strong enough... But they won't let me go there even if I beg because of the stupid laws... I need to escape before I turn 14.'
