Mia Markings is married to Jeremy Asphalt, the primary heir to Asphalt Group. Though it is a marriage of convenience, the two look like a happy couple or so it seems. Behind the beautiful cover of a seemingly perfect marriage lies the dark stormy chapters of a devilish marriage. Maltreatment, injustice, denial and ridicule are normal affairs of this marriage, but to worsen matters, Mia is murdered by her own husband. Narrowly escaping death and living under a new identity, Mia ends up marrying the younger brother of her ex-husband and weaves her way back into the home of The Asphalts, her sole aim being to take revenge. The question is: Will she succeed with her mission or fare badly?
