Fake 11: Lonely Survivor At School

The next morning, I went to school as usual.

The truth is all the students in my school are survivors.

It is one of the survivor institutes scattered all over Japan that are operating with the main focus on the growth of the survivors.

Those who have manifested survivor abilities before their junior high school are gathered there.

By the way, I am currently enrolled in first-year class 3; unfortunately, there are no classmates I am particularly close with.

Around a month after entering high school, I formed a trial party with fellow classmates and strived to subjugate monsters.

But when they found out I had no means of directly attacking, of course, no one tried to invite me anymore.

That’s why I had to join an outside beginner party just as when I was in junior high school.

This school is located quite far from where I originally lived because I enrolled by taking sponsorship as a survivor.

Probably, I think they are allocated to the areas where the damage from monsters is enormous.

I didn’t have a single acquaintance ever since junior high school, and there were no achievements as a survivor to speak of.

So even though half a year has already passed since school started, I still don’t have a single friend.

To be honest, it was a little lonely.

However, I’ve been desperately struggling to live as a survivor until now and didn’t have any leisure time to make friends, so it is unavoidable.

The lessons at school have benefits in their own way.

Even so, I’d been hard-pressed with my livelihood and couldn’t put any effort into studying.

For that reason, my grades were usually lower than average.

After half a year had passed, I turned into a loner at school, but I was in a better mood recently because I could feel I was taking steps little by little as a survivor.

“We defeated a goblin yesterday~.

It became an easy victory thanks to the newest member.”

“Eh.

As expected~ Atashiro-kun was too cool, right~”

“Iyaa, if you praise me like that”

This classmate named Atashiro is also a survivor.

However, the fact that he defeated a goblin with a party means he is likely the lowest rank survivor like me.

Nevertheless, he is popular among the girls because he is good-looking.

“Hey, even I defeated a kobold yesterday”

“Honda-kun is good as well~”

“Well, it was easy”

Although kobolds don’t appear as frequently as goblins, they are the same G-rank monsters as goblins.

So it seems Honda is also the bottom-most G-rank survivor.

If I have to say using my experiences, it feels like they are conceited to be boasting for low-rank survivors.

Many high-ranking monsters were being defeated day after day somewhere; however, I rarely heard a survivor bragging about such feats.

It’s not that I don’t understand the feeling of wanting to boast, but I feel doing such things would be totally uncool.

Today too, I spent the day at school without talking to anyone except for clerical matters, but it would be good if a subjugation request came today~

That night, while I was relaxing after eating cup-ramen, the terminal rang, and I was able to receive the monster’s position.

(T/N: LOL he is still eating cup-ramen for dinner)

Finally

I went flying with the bicycle and rushed to the scene.

Even though I rode the bicycle at full speed while pressing down on my impatient feelings, it was hard to reach the destination.

Even so, I was able to arrive at the location after going as fast as possible.

Then I left the bicycle immediately and headed towards the target after making battle preparations.

“Gugyagyagya”

I heard the usual unpleasant voice of the goblin; I continued to advance without minding it and saw the figure of the ugly goblin monster.
